RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY that:
a. The application for consent in terms of Item 21(c) of the Development Management Scheme to permit a halfway house on Erf 65133 Cape Town at Kenilworth, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. The application for relaxation of a restrictive title deed condition, as set out in Annexure A, for Erf 65133 Cape Town at Kenilworth, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
Conditions 2.7 and 2.13 are amended as follows:
2.7 The on-site parking for a minimum of 9 vehicles must be provided and must be demarcated on the property to the satisfaction of the Director: Transport Planning.
2.13 A landscape plan prepared by a professional landscape architect / technician registered with the South African Council for the Landscape Architectural Profession (SACLAP) (showing: species of trees to be removed, relocated or retained, existing finished ground levels, landscaping on levels other than ground level; landscaping features including fences, walls, retaining walls, street furniture, lighting and play equipment, location of proposed trees with botanical names sizes and densities, irrigation and water source and the extent of hard surfaces) shall be submitted for approval to the Director: Development Management prior to the approval of any building plan for the property. The landscaping Plan must detail the soft and hard landscaping for the parking area including existing and proposed vegetation, paving details and any other proposed landscaping element and that tree planting to be undertaken along Goldbourne Road.
That the word “following” be omitted in the note after condition 2.14
