UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
An administrative penalty in the amount of R 100 000.00 BE IMPOSED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in respect of Portion 39 (Portion of Portion 8) of Cape Farm 807, 1B Weltevreden Road, Hyde Park, Weltevreden Valley.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reason set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to amend:
6.2 The gravity is considered very serious because 180 more pupils have been accommodated in classrooms that should have been for 340 learners, increasing the ratio from 20 learners per classroom to 32 learners per classroom.
