UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
An administrative penalty in the amount of R 5 000.00 BE DETERMINED in terms of Section 98(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in respect of the unauthorised building work (erection of carports with incorporated Photovoltaic panels) on Portion 81 of Farm 794, corner of R44/Broadway Boulevard and De Beers Road, Somerset West.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
Add new reason: The applicant ceased work when ordered to do so.
