RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
a. That the application for the subdivision of Erf 8924 Fish Hoek, as indicated on the plan of subdivision LUM/35/8924, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. That the application for the rezoning of Portion 1 of Erf 8924 Fish Hoek, from Open Space Zone 3 to Utility Zone, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
Condition 2.2.2 is amended as follows:
2.2.2. Vehicular access to / from Portion 1 shall be restricted to the existing gravel road which shall be upgraded and tarred and which starts at the Kommetjie Main Road / Corsair Way intersection and passes through the north-west of the Fish Hoek sports grounds.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report except reason 7.1.1which is amended as follows:
7.1.1 The proposed subdivision and rezoning will be compatible with the adjoining roads depot.
