RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
a. That the application for the rezoning of Remainder Erven 9590 and 9591 Parow from Single Residential 1(SR1) to General Residential Subzone 4 (GR4) BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(i) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in the attached Annexure A.
b. That the application for the consolidation of Remainder Erven 9590 and 9591 Parow BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(i) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in the attached Annexure A.
c. That the application for the departure from the 4.5m street building line to 3,8m along Picton Street and to 1,5m along Cloete Road on Remainder Erven 9590 and 9591 Parow BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(i) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in the attached Annexure A.
d. That the application for the departure from the 10.04m common building line to 1.817m on Remainder Erven 9590 and 9591 Parow BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(i) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in the attached Annexure A.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report and added an additional reason 7.11 that reads as follows:
7.11 That the consolidation of the two erven enables a development that will have a positive impact on the surrounding neighbourhood.
