RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
That the application for Consent Use to permit a Freestanding Base Telecommunication Station on Erf 8447, Kraaifontein BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98 (c) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT REFUSED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report except reason 7.1.1 which is amended as follows:
1. As indicated in the diagram on page 727 there are 3 similar size masts approved / constructed within close proximity to the subject property, which is perceived to detrimentally affect the character of the neighborhood in which the mast is displayed, based on the cumulative visual impact.
