RESOLVED that:
a. The application in terms of Section 42(i) of the City of Cape Town’s Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 for a consent use in order to permit the erection of a FBTS comprising a 25m high monopole mast, 3 x equipment containers, 9 x antennae and 8m x 8m fenced compound on erf 37338, Mitchells Plain, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions attached as Annexure A.
b. The application in terms of Section 42(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 for a permanent departure in order to permit the proposed FBTS to be setback 0m in lieu of 5m from the north boundary on erf 37338 Mitchells Plain, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(i) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
