RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY

That an administrative penalty in the amount of R30 000 BE DETERMINED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 4966 Grassy Park, in accordance with Plan No: Grassypark4966 attached hereto as Annexure B.
REASONS FOR DECISION:

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report except reasons 1 and 6 which is amended as follows:

1. The entire dwelling house has been converted into 3 business uses all of which are in contravention of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
6. The applicant has provided misleading information regarding the duration of the contravention, the MPT views such conduct in a serious light.
