RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY

That the application for the rezoning of a portion of Erf 27782, Goodwood, Tygerdal, from Single Residential 1 (SR1) to Utility Zoning (UT) BE APPROVED, in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law (2015) (MPBL) to permit a freestanding base telecommunication station, subject to conditions attached as Annexure A.










REASONS FOR DECISION:

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.

Amend Annexure A:
1.1 The rezoning of a portion of Erf 27782 Goodwood, Tygerdal, as indicated on the zoning map attached as Annexure C from Single Residential 1 (SR1) to Utility zoning (UT) in terms of Section 42(a) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law (2015) in order to permit a 20m high freestanding base telecommunication station.

Land Use
2.2 That with the exception of the tree-like mast to be lowered to 20m, the development on the rezoned portion be generally in accordance with the amended Site Development Plan, attached as Annexure D

Add new:
2.3 The panels should not be located lower than 11m on the mast.
2.4 Trees on site and their root systems should not be damaged.
2.5 A survey diagram by registered surveyor to be submitted for confirmation by the authorized official in accordance with the SDP in Annexure D.

Update numbering sequence throughout.
