Resolution details

RESOLVED that:

The application for the approval of Council for those applications as contained in Annexure A attached in respect of Erf 2601, Upper Orange Street Oranjezicht BE APPROVED, in terms of Section 98 of the Municipal Planning By-Law subject to conditions contained in Annexure A attached and in accordance with the plans in Annexure C.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.

Amend Annexure A:
Delete 2.2
Renumber 2.2.2 to read 2.2
Delete 2.2.1

2.5 Landscaping shall be implemented in accordance with the landscape plan attached and shall be for the approval of the Director: Development Management.
Delete 2.5.1

Renumber 2.5.2 to read 2.5.1

2.7 The hours of use for sporting activities on the property are as follows:
2.7.1 Between 1st April and 30th September (winter) in any calendar year:
Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 20:30
Fridays 07:00 – 21:30
Saturdays 07:00 – 15:30

2.7.2 Between 1st October and 31st March (summer) in any calendar year:
Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 19:00
Fridays 07:00 – 20:00
Saturdays 07:00 – 17:30

2.7.3 No matches will be played before 09:00 Monday to Friday and use prior to this time will be restricted to individual practise.

2.7.4 Matches on Saturdays may start at 07:30

2.7.5 No use permitted on Sundays or South African Religious Public Holidays

2.7.6 Other Public Holidays, usage only between 07:00 and 17:30 with no matches before 07:30

2.7.7 Floodlights shall be switched off at the closing times indicated above in 2.7.1 and 2.7.2
