That an administrative penalty in the amount of R80 000.00 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of unauthorized building work on Erven 178446-178454, Cape Town at Newlands, as per the plan attached as Annexure B
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report, except reason 6.6 which is amended as follows:
6.6. There is no record of the owner having previously contravened this By-Law or any other planning law.
