RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
a. That the application for Consolidation of Erven 3178 – 3189, Upper Oakdale, Bellville BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 in accordance with plan ERVEN3178-3189_Con2, dated 22 May 2017 (attached as Annexure C), subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. That the application for Rezoning from LB1 to GB2 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
c. That the application for Departure relating to the Street building line of 1.4m in lieu of 4.5m for a building exceeding 10m in height BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 in accordance with plan no 16-450-1301 attached as Annexure D, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
d. That the application for Departure to accommodate 3 carriage-way crossings in lieu of 2 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 in accordance with plan 16-450-1301 attached as Annexure D, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
e. That the application for Council’s approval in terms of item 60(k)(ii) to accommodate parking within 10m from the street boundary BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 in accordance with plan 16-450-1301 attached as Annexure D, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
ADDITIONAL CONDITION
2.6.6 That attention is given to the Interface of the development on Bloemhof Street and with the residential component to the south of the site to the satisfaction of the Director: Development Management.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.
