Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:

a. The application for the rezoning of erf 25913 from Open Space Zoning 3: Special Open Space (OS3) to General Business Subzone GB1 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

b. The application for consent use on erf 25913 Milnerton to allow for a motor repair garage BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

c. The application for Council’s approval to allow for parking to be provided within 10m from the street boundary on erf 25913 Milnerton BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.


REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.

Amend conditions:
2.2 The development of the property for the current proposal shall be generally in accordance with Annexure C2, dated 14/06/2017 and drawn by Winterbach Pretorius Letele Architects.
2.7 The applicant to implement the required road improvements as indicated on the provisional design layout submitted by JG Africa, prior to occupation of the building, to the satisfaction of the Director: Development Management.

Add to condition 2:
The Landscape Plan for erf 25913 Parklands as compiled by OvP Associates (Drawing no. 463-100 rev 01) dated 9 December 2016 shall be implemented.

Delete ‘General Notes’
