UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for the subdivision of Erf 171678 Cape Town into one (1) portion and a remainder as shown in Annexure C, attached hereto BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
b. The application for the consolidation of portion 1 (created through subdivision listed in ‘a’ above) with Unregistered Erf 176348 Cape Town as shown in Annexure C, attached hereto BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
c. The application for the deletion of conditions of approval (as set out in Annexure A, attached hereto), BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
d. The application for the rezoning of the consolidated erf (created through the consolidation listed in 7.2 above) from Single Residential 1 to General Residential 1: Group Housing BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
e. The application for Permanent departures (as set out in Annexure A, attached hereto) BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
f. The proposed Site Development Plan attached hereto as Annexure D, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
Amend conditions as follows:
1.5 Delete paragraph 3 & 4 with headings ‘Internal Building Lines’ and ‘Site Access and Exits’
1.6 Approval of the Site Development Plan attached hereto as Annexure D, Project No. 07-09-087, drawing number SD 100-01(rev 2) drawn by Bouwer Architects TB/TS/RB dated 2016-12-13.
Add new condition:
2.3.4 The implementation of the above conditions are subject to the water restrictions being lifted’
