RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
a. That the application for regulation departure from the Cape Town Development Management Scheme (DMS) for Erf 9283, Somerset West, to permit the relaxation of the 5m common building line (adjacent to Erf 11243, Somerset West) to 0m to permit additions to the existing church building and an associated retaining wall, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning Bylaw, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in attached Annexure A.
b. That the application for amendment of the SDP for Erf 9283, Somerset West, to permit additions and alterations to the church complex, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning Bylaw, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in attached Annexure A.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL IMPOSED IN TERMS OF SECTION 100 OF THE BYLAW
Conditions 2.1.4 to 2.1.14 are deleted.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.
