RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
a. That the application for a consent use (tourist facility) to permit a spa on Portion 51 of Farm Meerendal 159, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. That the application for amendment of Condition 2 of the Council approval of subdivision of Portion 9 of Farm Meerendal 159, dated 16 April 2012, to permit a building with a floor space of 1 089 m² in lieu of 300 m², BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
c. That the application for the amendment of Condition F.4. contained in title deed T28153/2013 to permit a tourist facility (spa) on Portion 51 of Farm Meerendal 159, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.
