RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY:
a. That the application for the departure to permit a relaxation of the 5m street boundary building line to 3,5m as indicated on plan VD. 01/02 in respect of Erf 9299, Strand, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law.
b. That the application for the departure to permit more than one access per public street (Access 1) as indicated on plan VD. 01/02 in respect of Erf 9299, Strand, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law.
c. That the application for the departure to permit more than one access per public street (Access 2) as indicated on plan VD. 01/02 in respect of Erf 9299, Strand, BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98(c) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT REFUSED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.
