UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for departures, as set out in Annexure A, for Erf 159427 Cape Town, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 of the City of Cape Town Planning By-Law, 2015.
b. The application for City approval, as set out in Annexure A, for Erf 159427 Cape Town, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 of the City of Cape Town Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s
Report
The following amendments need to be made to point 6.2.5 (page 833):
First paragraph to read as follows: ‘The building line departures are for small portions of the first storey’.
Second paragraph – delete last sentence ‘See figure 1 above’
Third paragraph to read as follows: ‘The floor factor departure is considered very minor in nature’.
The following amendments need to be made to point 1.1.2 (page 836):
‘To permit a portion of the proposed building beyond 12.0m from the street boundaries to be set back 1.60m in lieu of 3.0m from the common boundary, (South East corner) and to permit this portion of the building to be 7.7m high in lieu of 4m’.
