UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED:

a. That the application for rezoning from Single Residential SR1 to General Residential Gr1, to permit four group housing units, of Erf 5691, Goodwood, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

b. That the application for permanent departures, as set out in Annexure A, for Erf 5691, Goodwood, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 in accordance with the plan drawn by Pro-Konsort Town Planners with drawing number GW5691/1 dated March 2016, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

ALL THE CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL IMPOSED IN TERMS OF SECTION 100 OF THE CITY OF THE CAPE TOWN MUNICIPAL PLANNING BYLAW WERE APPROVED, ACCEPT CONDITION 2.1.1, WHICH WAS DELETED AND SUBSTITUTED WITH THE FOLLOWING:

2.1 RELATING TO THE DEPARTURE APPROVAL

2.1.1 “That a Site Development Plan (SDP) shall be submitted for approval by the Director: Development Management and that the development shall be built substantially in accordance with the SDP.”

REASONS FOR DECISION:

The MPT approved the application for all reasons set out in the planners report except for reason 7.1.1 which was amended to read as follows:

1. The subject area is designated for urban development in terms of the Tygerberg District Plan.
