UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. An administrative penalty in the amount of R 1 329.00 IS APPROVED in terms of section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 2204 Mitchells Plain in accordance with Plan No. DW 02204, drawn by MK Designs Architectural Drawings, dated NOV. 2013
REASONS FOR DECISION:
1. The nature and gravity of the contravention is relatively low key.
2. As far as can be ascertained the owner of the property has not previously contravened the Municipal Planning By-Law or any other planning law.
3. The owner agreed that the garage should be omitted from the building plan and did not understand the implications.
