Steenbras Nature Reserve reopened after flooding Steenbras Nature Reserve reopened after flooding<img alt="" src="https://resource.capetown.gov.za/cityassets/PublishingImages/Biodiversity-Parks-Listing.jpg" style="BORDER:0px solid;" /><p>​Steenbras Nature Reserve has been re-opened to the public following its closure earlier this month due to flooding which affected Clarence Drive (R44) near Gordon’s Bay. Read more below:<br></p><p>​It was decided to re-open the reserve after the re-opening of Clarence Drive (R44). The Steenbras Nature Reserve staff conducted an assessment of the popular Steenbras River Gorge and Crystal Pools Hiking Trail and it was deemed suitable for hiking.<br></p><div>‘The reserve has a backlog of bookings for December. Therefore, no new bookings will be accepted until we can honour the existing paid upfront bookings.
