City forms partnerships with stakeholders for innovation and skills development | <p></p><span><p>Through this partnership, the Urban Waste Management Directorate will have access to resources and expertise provided by the LGSETA and CCIEEC. This includes training programs, workshops, and cultural initiatives that will benefit City officials, EPWP employees and the broader community through the Community Development Workers Programme (CDWP), which is a partnership with the Western Cape Government.</p>

We have in the past worked with them to empower over 800 EPWP workers with NQF Level 2 Environmental Practice qualifications, which has helped them understand the importance of best practices when it comes to waste management,' said Mayoral Committee for Urban Waste Management, Alderman Grant Twigg.</p><p> </p><p>The collaboration with the CCIEEC will open up opportunities for cultural exchange and international cooperation. This partnership will allow for the sharing of ideas, best practices, and cultural insights between Cape Town and China, fostering greater understanding and cooperation between the two regions.<br></p>
