Systems Integration
The Systems Integration function is a support service that develops systems to enable the Land Use and Building Development Management functions to serve the city's residents more effectively.
These systems include:
The Geographic Information System (GIS) that maintains layers of spatial data and property information (such as zoning, cadastral boundaries, street names, etc.)
Software that tracks and monitors the processing of building plans and land use applications, as well as complaints and contraventions
The branch also produces standard maps in print and electronic format from this data. These maps are available to the public at the department's various
district offices
