The popular Company's Garden in the Cape Town city centre has become a safer place for residents and tourists to visit, thanks to a strategic partnership between the City of Cape Town, South African Police Service (SAPS) and Central City Improvement District (CCID).

The Westridge Gardens in Mitchells Plain was selected as one of three parks to benefit from a rejuvenation project, collectively valued at R30million. The improvements will be funded by the Department of Environmental Affairs in partnership with the City of Cape Town.
