Cape Town's residents and visitors are now able to report traffic signal (robots) faults or problems in two ways: telephonically or via the web.

Cape Town has over 1 200 traffic signals, with almost 100 000 lamps and over 5 000 inductive loops. A city such as London has just over 4 000 traffic signals.
The City's Area Traffic Control system controls almost 800 of our signals, with the advanced SCOOT system operating about 250 of our busiest intersections. The system saves motorists over R30 million a year in operating and time costs.
