Zandvlei Resort is located next to the Zandvlei Estuary Nature Reserve in Muizenberg. The resort offers caravan park visitors a variety of water sports such as sailing, windsurfing and canoeing. The caravan park is also a five minute walk from Muizenberg Beach (a Blue Flag beach) and a variety of facilities such as the Muizenberg Pavilion, waterslides, swimming pools and a putt-putt course.

Due to the resort’s position relative to the sea, it is sheltered from south-easter winds in summer.
