Our 14 indoor sports centres are of international standards and offer both able and disabled people the opportunity and facilities to practice their sport all year round, regardless of weather conditions.

In addition to sports events these indoor facilities are able to host a number of other events and functions.

Belhar Indoor Sports Centre

This indoor sporting facility is situated in Proton Rd, Belhar, which is next to Northlink College and at the back of the University of the Western Cape. The sports accommodated here include wheelchair rugby, wheelchair basketball, volleyball, competitive dancing, badminton and indoor soccer.

The centre has hosted a number of national and international events such as the recent national table tennis and international karate tournaments. Other events and functions such as weddings, birthday parties, year end functions and corporate meetings are also staged here.

There are two halls – the Minor Hall accommodates 500 and the Main Hall accommodates 1 100.
