Comment on the City’s tender for multidisciplinary professional services in respect of its new office complex
The City of Cape Town is inviting potential service providers to tender for the provision of multidisciplinary professional services for a new office building complex for the Water and Sanitation Department. It is anticipated that it will take at least five years to complete the project.

In terms of Section 33 of the Municipal Finance Management Act, (Act 56 of 2003), Council is required to invite comment from the local community, other interested persons and the National and Provincial Treasuries regarding its intention to contract with any Service Provider for a period exceeding three years, before deciding on the proposal at a public meeting of the Council.

Members of the public are therefore invited to submit comments on this tender.

An electronic copy of the tender document is available here for scrutiny.

Submissions should be emailed to Water.HQ@capetown.gov.za or be delivered to Wouter Loots at the second floor of the Municipal Offices, c/o Victoria and Andries Pretorius Streets, Somerset West, 7130 before Monday, 3 September 2012.

For further enquiries and details of the contract contact Wouter Loots at 021 850 4505 or  wouter.loots@capetown.gov.za
