The City of Cape Town is hosting the largest utility event in Africa, African Utility Week, at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from 18 – 22 May 2009.
The event, which caters for professionals in the power sector, comprises a conference, pre-conference workshops and an exhibition that showcases over 150 vendor products. The conference provides an opportunity for stakeholders in the African power utility sector to network, share information and improve their knowledge of utility efficiency. The conference sessions will be strategically focused on three distinct themes: Generation Africa; Transmission & Distribution Africa; and Metering, Billing/CRM Africa. Topics for discussion include strategies for enhancing infrastructure maintenance, load management, service delivery and revenue management.
