The shuttle bus runs between the Civic Centre Station (pictured right) in central Cape Town and the Airport Station, which is outside the arrivals terminal at Cape Town International Airport.

The bus departs every 20 minutes from both stations, and tickets are on sale at the kiosks inside.
The trip takes about the same time, or slightly less, than in a private car, as follows:
- Morning peak (direction City): about 20-30 minutes
- Afternoon peak (direction Airport): about 45-55 minutes
- Other times of the day or in opposite direction to peak hour congestion: about 15-20 minutes (subject to delays).
