The Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plans (SDBIPs) are detailed plans that are approved by the Executive Mayor for implementing the City’s delivery of services and its annual budget.
Each SDBIP includes the following:
- Projections for each month
- Revenue to be collected, by source
- Operational and capital expenditure, by vote
- Service delivery targets and performance indicators for each quarter
Any other matters prescribed
The Executive Mayor is expected to approve the SDBIP within 28 days after the City’s budget has been approved. In addition he or she ensures that the revenue and expenditure projections for each month and the service delivery targets and performance indicators as set out in the SDBIP are made public within 14 days after their approval
