Vygieskraal Stadium is located in Johnston Road, Athlone. Please note that the entrance is on the east side on Johnston Rd.

Public transport

Use the bus, train or use a minibus taxi to get there. (Call Cape Town Tourism on +27 (0)21 487 6800, or e-mail info@capetown.travel for names and numbers of accredited taxi operators.) Ten of the City's train stations have been upgraded to enable people to park their cars in a secure area and complete the rest of their journeys by train. These are: Fish Hoek, Ottery, Retreat, Claremont, Goodwood, Century City, Oosterzee, Brackenfell, Kuilsrivier and Strand. The nearest train station (to the venue) is Athlone Station. Buses and taxis will stop on Klipfontein Road near the corner of Johnston Road, which will be turned into a pedestrian walkway and therefore closed to traffic.

Parking

If you plan to drive, make sure you have at least three or four passengers as parking, which is on the sportsfields next to the stadium, is limited to 2 500 cars. The entrance is via Carnie Road.
