Collaboration Protocol by and between the City of Cape Town and the Cape Higher Education Consortium​

  • To achieve growth and development related to social, economic and environmental goals within the City's area of jurisdiction, and to realise the full potential of the City;
  • Building more skillful citizenry, equipped to contribute effectively to the development of our democracy and the growth of the economy;
  • Supporting the City's short, medium and long term strategies, objectives and vision;
  • Developing a plan to address the mutually agreed strategic initiatives, and;
  • Strengthening the contribution of higher education to the development of the CITY and Cape Town​

A Cooperation Agreement for the Improvement of Informal Settlements and Backyard Precincts in Cape Town signed between The City of Cape Town, and The Informal Settlements Network, CT, and The Community Organisation Resource Centre.
The Parties will endeavour to improve the circumstances of residents of informal settlements and backyard precincts in areas where the ISN is actively engaged.  To further support local communities in capacity building, technical expertise and in gaining access to other resources for the improvement of the circumstances of Informal Settlements.
