EduNet has been established as a Youth Environmental School (YES) initiative to provide a 'one-stop-shop' for environmental educators to:
- obtain resources such as posters, leaflets, lesson plans, books and information about environmental issues
- receive invitations to workshops and special outings
- source information about upcoming events, campaigns and competitions
- share information with other educators
- showcase projects, and more
Membership is FREE. To become a member, educators need only to complete the registration form by hand and fax it to 021 487 2255. PLEASE NOTE: Only qualified WCED educators are permitted to apply for membership.
The EduNet web pages that you are reading now have been created for educators to use as a source of information about environmental education (EE). There is also an opportunity for educators to share their thoughts, tips and challenges on the subject.
If you have any e-mails, photos or articles that you'd like to share with other EduNet members, please send them on to the YES EduNet Co-ordinator at the contact details below.
