Projects and programmes 

Mallard duckSome of the following invasive alien species management projects and programmes are currently underway by the City of Cape Town and its partners:

  • Early Detection and Rapid Response (EDRR) programme
  • Indian house crow eradication project
  • Invasive plant control in nature reserves and in the biodiversity network (BioNet)
  • Invasive plant control (general)
  • Aquatic weeds control
  • Aquatic invasive fauna control
  • Mallard duck programme
