26 November 2013 - Fourth Energy Efficiency Forum Market Place for Commercial Buildings
Owners and managers of commercial and public buildings in Cape Town - particularly building and facilities managers - are invited to attend the next meeting of the Energy Efficiency Forum. The Forum aims to provide owners or managers of offices, shopping centres and hotels with practical 'know how' on how to implement energy efficiency improvements in their own buildings and to create a platform for collective action and shared learning.
We are delighted to announce that the judging by the UCT Energy Research Centre is in the final stages and the winners of the EE Forum Awards 2013 will be announced at this Forum. Come and share in the joy of the celebrated energy efficiency achievers.
We will also be hosting the fourth Energy Efficiency Market Place, enabling credible suppliers of energy efficiency goods and services to showcase their products and services to commercial building managers. To add to the joy of the occasion and in pursuit of pushing the boundaries of sustainable design and leadership, we are pleased to be able to host an illustrated talk by Michael Smith of Allan Gray on the No. 1 Silo at the V&A Waterfront - a project that has received a 6 Star Green Star SA Design rating by the Green Building Council of South Africa.
