Forum meetings provide relevant case studies to demonstrate how energy efficiency is being achieved by others in the sector - including methodologies, cost-benefit returns and savings results.
Practitioners and experts from Cape Town and other parts of the country are invited to give specialist addresses on topics such as methods of saving in certain types of buildings, or optimising different kinds of systems or life stages of buildings.
Some presentations cover more detailed information on energy management ‘best practice’ and technical interventions in key areas such as state of the art lighting, HVAC/ air conditioning, water heating, IT and data server systems, and other mechanical systems (such as lifts and escalators). Legislation developments are addressed and relevant events, training opportunties, resources, tools and guidelines are shared. The Forum also provides information regarding energy efficiency-related products and service providers can be sourced to help them achieve their targets.
Feel free to join us at the next EE Forum meeting for ideas and examples to improve the energy efficiency of your building.
