The City's 17 driving licence testing centres are located at central points throughout Cape Town. They are open from 08:00 to 15:30, Monday to Friday and 8:00 to 11:00 on Saturday. Roadworthy certificates can be obtained at any of the centres marked with an asterix (*), as well as private testing stations appointed by the Provincial Government of the Western Cape (such as the AA).

Complaints about service delivery, conversion of foreign licences, appeals against failing a driving test or difficulties with booking appointments may be lodged with the centres' management representatives.
