The official Mrs Josephs informed the Subcouncil that the delay was due to

• Bid Adjudication held 23/02/2012 contractor will be on site 29/05/2012.The Appointment could not be made because the quality of vendors did not meet the specification
• The bid was advertised again and adjudication was held on 09/03/2012. Appointment could not be made because the quality of vendors did not meet the specification
• Another advert was placed and the advert closed 10th April 2012.It was estimated that the work will take approximately six weeks to complete. The contractor to be on site Monday 28.05.2012.
• Cllr Little asked Mrs Josephs to follow up on funds that were reallocated from Ward 44- R160 000 and Ward 45- R200 000 to  Ward 42 – C12.17205-F1
