Stadium operator contract awarded
The City of Cape Town's Bid Adjudication Committee has approved the awarding of the contract for the operator of the Green Point Stadium and surrounding Green Point Common. Business Venture Investments 1317 (Pty) Ltd, a consortium of Stade de France and local sports marketing company SAIL Group, will run and manage the new facility for up to 30 years. Mayor receives world monopoly set from Property Developers’ Forum
Members of the Cape Town Property Developers’ Forum handed over a set of the latest version of Monopoly to Executive Mayor Helen Zille on 20 November. The ‘Here and Now: World Edition’ features Cape Town and a number of other international cities. (More)
Another library for Cape Town
A new library situated in Fisantekraal, Cape Town has been officially opened by Executive Mayor Helen Zille. The library, which will significantly improve the community’s access to print and electronic resources, is located in a new multipurpose complex built by the City as a community and library centre.
