City maintains high credit rating
The City of Cape Town has retained its double A credit rating for the third consecutive year, despite the current tough economic climate. The City also achieved the highest rating score for a South African local authority, when independent ratings agency, Moody’s International, confirmed Cape Town’s Aa2.za rating. (More) New one way streets for Kensington On 15 May 2009, the City of Cape Town will convert part of Fifth Avenue in Kensington to a two lane one way street. Part of First and Second Streets, which lead off Fifth Avenue, will also change into one way streets. (More)
