MyCiTi is a card-based system, except on the Civic Centre - Airport leg of route A01 where paper tickets are still accepted.
Each passenger 4 years and older needs their own
myconnect card loaded with enough cash for travel. Certain contactless cards displaying this symbol

are also accepted.
Get your
myconnect card and load money at
MyCiTi station kiosks or
participating retailers.

If you suspect that you have been charged incorrectly for travel, you can complete an
appeal form and we will investigate.
Download the appeal form, fill it in and submit it along with the requested support documents by fax to 021 812 4644, by email to
transport.info@capetown.gov.za or by post to TIC, Transport Management Centre, Hugo Street, Goodwood.
