The City of Cape Town and its disaster relief partners have a proud history of being able to assist large numbers of people affected by disasters by providing them with relief.
Members of the public who would like to contribute to disaster relief operations can contact any of the following NGOs that are partnering with the City of Cape Town and the Provincial Government of the Western Cape: Social Development. These organisations have well-established, transparent processes in place to distribute relief effectively and efficiently in affected communities, and their relief efforts are monitored by both the City and the Province.
