Executive Mayor Nomaindia Mfeketo : A budget for growth and development

The City of Cape Town has announced its biggest-ever budget of R10,1 billion, with an emphasis on helping the very poor in line with a long-term growth and development vision.

"The budget seeks to strike a balance between the massive development challenges of poor areas, especially the informal settlements, and the need to maintain our CBDs and the world-class infrastructure in established areas," says Mayor Nomaindia Mfeketo.
